Elizabeth Banks to Headline Content Marketing World 2023

We’re thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Banks to the Content Marketing World 2023 keynote stage, where she’ll share the evolution of her career from actress to content creator and inspire us with her creativity, authenticity, and ambition.

While many of us know Elizabeth for her standout acting roles – from wishing “May the odds be ever in your favor” as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games, to her Emmy-nominated guest roles in 30 Rock and Modern Family – she is becoming increasingly lauded for her work behind the camera as a writer, producer, and director who skillfully balances humor and heart in her storytelling.

Elizabeth most recently produced and directed Universal Pictures’ hit comedy-thriller Cocaine Bear, which surpassed box office projections. She first made her directorial debut in 2015 with Pitch Perfect 2, which was the biggest opener for a first-time feature film director and the second-largest opening for a female director. It also garnered her the ‘Breakthrough Filmmaker of the Year’ award at the CinemaCon Awards.

The Pitch Perfect franchise was produced through her company Brownstone Productions, which she owns with her husband Max Handelman. Brownstone Productions’ slate covers multiple film, television, and digital collaborations, including the critically-acclaimed series Shrill on Hulu and the reboot of game show Press Your Luck, which she also hosts.

“I’m always trying to figure out, as a businesswoman, what are the different areas in which I can expand?” Elizabeth said in a 2021 episode of Fast Company’s podcast Creative Conversation. “I’m an ambitious person. I’m not afraid to say that out loud.”

In this quest to continue growing and evolving, Elizabeth signed a multi-project development and first-look deal with Audible and hosted her first podcast in 2021, My Body, My Podcast. She is also the co-owner and chief creative officer of Archer Roose Wines, a leading artisanal canned wine company. And she is the co-owner of Whohaha, a digital content studio and creative community made up of 5,000 women and gender-expansive creators in comedy.

We look forward to hearing from the brilliant and entertaining Elizabeth Banks at Content Marketing World, and we’d love to have you there with us!
